This thesis presents the introduction and impact of blockchain technology on healthcare. It is shown what are the advantages of its implementation and what are its challenges and risks. They talked about digital health and the implementation of technology in the healthcare system. The dangers that undermine security on the Internet, the concepts of cyber attack and cyber security are presented. Security of user data, with the highest possible protection and ways in which unauthorized persons, hackers can download other people's information. Preventing such a scenario is possible with the use of a username and password, as well as being careful not to lose the user's private key. Security is also created by duplicating records or data on the Internet, which makes the possibility of hacking more difficult. The ways in which blockchain technology could improve the healthcare system and its impact on physiotherapy are different, but the main thing is to prepare the system itself and secure the data. Cases are presented and how it would look like in clinical practice. Blockchain technology in healthcare would help doctors make decisions and diagnoses. It would increase the self-confidence of patients, who would have more control over their data. With a private blockchain username and password, the patient would have to give consent for another person to view their health record. To find information on how to improve the health system, verified and official websites and articles in professional journals were used. The paper shows all the advantages of blockchain technology for speeding up the sending of information, faster diagnosis and consultation of doctors, both with patients and with specialist doctors. It is possible to carry out transactions faster for the purpose of paying for treatment in private health institutions.
