Post COVID-19 syndrome is an underlying condition observed in a person recovered from COVID-19 and for whom this disease has left consequences. This observational study included 111 respondents (patients) who, due to Post COVID-19 clinical symptoms, were addmited to the Post COVID-19 hospital of physical medicine and rehabilitation in the Dubrava Clinical Hospital. For those patients the physiatrist prescribed physiotherapy. The results of the research indicated that a high percentage of patients were hospitalized due to COVID-19 and required oxygen support. The most frequent symptom in patients with Post COVID-19 syndrome was increased fatigue, witch has also been observed in other studies. In the physiotherapy program the most often indicated protocols were the combination of pulmonary - respiration 2, neuromuscular - conditioning 2 and stabilometry - balance 2 protocols. The results of the research indicated that physiotherapy interventions in patients with Post COVID-19 syndrome are very useful. This claim is confirmed by the fact that 65% of patients had improved condition after the indicated physiotherapy intervention. Literature studies have also indicated the importance of physiotherapy in patients with Post COVID-19 syndrome, where its importance was also confirmed by the results of this observational study.
