Abstract
Potrebno je razumjeti što su marketing i marketinške koncepcije, a vezano uz to i društveno odgovorno poslovanje na koje se trebaju oslanjati sve turistiĉke destinacije, pa i otok Lokrum. Objašnjeno je porijeklo i definicija pojma turistiĉke destinacije kako bi se lakše tumaĉila daljnja problematika. Kaţe se da je turistiĉka destinacija odreĊena uţa ili šira prostorna cjelina u kojoj se ostvaruje turistiĉki promet, a ta cjelina moţe biti svako mjesto koje raspolaţe turistiĉkim kapacitetima.
Abstract (english)
First of all, it is necessary to understand what marketing and marketing concepts are, as well as socially responsible business to which all tourist destinations should be based as well as island Lokrum. The origin and definition of the concept of tourist destination are explained in order to interpret further issues more easily. Therefore, we say that the tourist destination is defined as a narrower or broader spatial unit in which tourist traffic is realized, and this unit can be any place with tourist capacities.
