Abstract
U ovom radu istražena je kompleksnost upravljanja investicijskim portfeljima u bankarskom sektoru, naglašavajući važnost razumijevanja različitih financijskih instrumenata i njihove primjene u strategijama ulaganja, što se u konačnici reflektira na samo poslovanje banke. Detaljno su analizirani čimbenici koji utječu na odluke o investicijama, uključujući ekonomske, političke i tržišne uvjete, koji zajedno formiraju dinamično okruženje u kojemu banke moraju poslovati. Rad naglašava ključnu ulogu strategija kreiranja portfelja, koje moraju biti fleksibilne i prilagodljive promjenama na tržištu. Također, napravljena je analiza strukture portfelja hrvatskih banaka u razdoblju od 2020. do 2022. godine.
Abstract (english)
This thesis investigates the complexity of managing investment portfolios in the banking sector, emphasizing the importance of understanding different financial instruments and their application in investment strategies, which is ultimately reflected in the bank's operations. Factors influencing investment decisions are analyzed in detail, including economic, political and market conditions, which together form the dynamic environment in which banks must operate. The paper emphasizes the key role of the portfolio creation strategy, which must be flexible and adaptable to market changes. Also, an analysis of the portfolio structure of Croatian banks in the period from 2020 to 2022 was made.
